Born in Srijemska Mitrovica, Serbia, working for Riba Mljet since April 2014

I initially came to the island to work as a waiter in one local restaurant. While struggling with tourists all day I met employees from Riba Mljet. They were also working very hard, since it was the peak of the tourist season, but they were always happy, laughing and having fun while working. This positive environment in the company was so attractive that made me want to be part of that team. And so I did... and hopefully for many more years to come!

After a while my wife and my son came to the island as well and now we have lots of friends among locals and we even have bought land on Mljet and plan to build a house. It wasn’t planned but it seems that I will be seeing my hometown Slavonia rarely from now on.
